MISSION MINDED, FUN LOVING, IN TOUCH WITH THE GOD THEY LOVE ARE THE YOUTH OF IVEY MEMORIAL UMC!!!

The Group consisting of 6th through 12th grades meets weekly to have communion with one another, share their faith and concerns, play games, worship, study and of course eat good snacks. 

We serve our community by playing BINGO at the local nursing home, maintaining flower beds at the church, Christmas caroling, Pathways Missions, Tri-City Workcamp and assisting with events held at our church. 

We worship together at the Petersburg District Youth Retreat Annually, VA Conference Fall Retreat at Eagle Eyrie, New Years Eve Covenant Service, Annually Youth Lead Sunday and Regular Sunday Morning Services.

We serve the world by serving on Mission teams in Lynchburg, New Orleans and North Carolina.  We also sponsor a Child in the World Mission Program.

We support our projects financially by holding church dinners such as our Snowball Dance, Carwashes, Pizza Sales, Stuff Animal sales and Catering Events.

We have fun by attending ball games during our destination unknown trips, Christian music concerts, lock-ins at our church, movie nights and parties.

Ivey Memorial UMC Youth Group enjoys being together in fellowship with young people who believe GOD is number one!!!!!
